5th April 2014 – Our First AGM

We held our first Annual General Meeting today.  The trustees came from far and wide to attend and have a good discussion about the current crop of applications and how to ensure the Foundation moves forward quickly and efficiently.

The boring bits – such as approval of the Annual Report and Accounts 2013-14 – were got out of the way quickly so we could focus on the new applications.  All the Trustees were in agreement that all but one application was suitable for our support, and the one declined was declined because the pupil’s parents were honest enough to tell Mel Moore that they were thinking of moving away from New Addington in the near future.

So now we have to organise the membership of various clubs or arrange individual tuition, which will not necessarily be as straightforward as it sounds.  We will keep you updated with progress.
