25th June 2016 – Brooke Continues to Improve
Brooke has competed in the London Regionals competition and again did exceptionally well. She came 4th in the vault scoring 10.900, 4th in the floor (14.450) and…4th overall (25.350, just 0.200 from 3rd). This is an improvement on the 6th place in her first competition and 5th in the last one. Mum says Brooke is definitely aiming for 3rd place and a bronze medal next time. Apparently Brooke was very nervous about her first ever floor competition, especially as there was a part of the routine she hadn’t managed to perfect in training. However, on the day she absolutely nailed it, as we’ve come to expect from Brooke. Her 4th place earned her a ribbon and her bronze pin. But she will be aiming for medals next time. And if that wasn’t enough, Brooke’s effort and exemplary attitude at school earned her a nomination for a School Award making her parents even prouder of her.
WELL DONE BROOKE. We are also proud of you.
