1st July 2016 – Schools Awards Day Fast Approaching

We are now just two weeks away from the third Rowdown Primary School Awards day on 15th July.  We are very pleased to announce that Mr Gavin Barwell MP has again agreed to present the trophies and prizes.

The nominations for the two categories (Academic Achievenement or Progress and Attitude and Effort) are in but as they’re not public yet, I can’t share them with you here.  Hopefully the handing out of certificates to all those nominated will happen next week and bring big smiles to the nominees and their proud families.  Whoever is nominated is already a winner having been chosen among their year group as the ones  who have stood out.

One child in each category in each year group will be chosen by the school’s leadership team and they will receive a trophy, presented by Mr Barwell.  There will then be one overall winner in each category and they will win a special trophy, an Amazon Fire 8 tablet and a fantastic day out for their family at a London attraction, all courtesy of Shard Capital’s generous sponsorship.

So if you are associated with the school, come along to the presentation on 15th July at 1.30pm and watch how much excitement it creates.  See you there.
