10th May 2015 – Update on 2015 Rowdown School Awards

The Trophies – All solid gold of course!

Just to confirm for all interested parties, the annual Rowdown School Awards will take place at the school on Friday 10th July.  These awards, organised by the Rowdown Inspire to Aspire Foundation in conjunction with Rowdown Primary School and sponsored by Shard Capital Partners, reward pupils for their hard work, endeavour and achievements.

The format will be the same as last year with two pupils from each class nominated in each of the two categories: academic and non-academic achievement, progress and endeavour.  A winner for each category in each year group will be chosen and then an overall winner of the academic and non-academic categories.  Thanks to the kind sponsorship by Shard Capital, we hope to be able to offer similar prizes to last year: a tablet computer and a family day out. Awards and prizes will once again be presented by Gavin Barwell MP* following his recent victory at the general election.  Our congratulations to Mr Barwell and we look forward to seeing him on 10th July.If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to Contact us.
